I like to read, especially about 20th century history, Stoicism, detective and science fiction, and 1970s comics. Social conservative and economic liberal; support family, community and country, and a free market, voluntary exchange economy. Gender-critical - biological women have a right to women-only changing rooms, toilets, prisons and sports events. Support Israel's right to exist and to defend itself and its citizens. Living in the Byker area of  Newcastle, I take an interest in the history of, and current events and activities in the area. Sarah and I enjoy visiting restaurants and taking the occasional foreign holiday - either to Tenerife in Spain for some winter sun, or city breaks in Europe (we've been to Reykjavik, Prague, Rome, Berlin and Amsterdam so far).
